Africa's cities are not just growing — they're being born. Lagos adds the equivalent of a mid-size European city every year. Nairobi's tech ecosystem generates more startups per capita than most Western cities. Accra is becoming a magnet for the African diaspora's most ambitious builders. These cities don't need to adopt existing infrastructure paradigms — they can leapfrog them.
The Leapfrog Opportunity
Africa already demonstrated the leapfrog model with mobile payments. M-Pesa didn't wait for bank branches and ATMs — it skipped straight to mobile-first financial infrastructure. We believe voice AI can follow the same trajectory: skip the desktop era, skip the app store, and go directly to ambient, voice-native intelligence embedded in physical spaces.

Concya Orbital: The Vision
Concya Orbital is our program to deploy voice-native AI infrastructure across Africa's 10 largest cities by 2028. Starting with transit systems and expanding to healthcare facilities, government service centers, and hospitality venues, we're building the auditory substrate that these megacities need.
Why This is Personal
I was born in Nigeria. I grew up watching brilliant people struggle with infrastructure that wasn't designed for them. The systems were either imported wholesale from contexts that didn't match, or simply didn't exist. Concya Orbital isn't charity — it's the recognition that Africa's megacities represent the biggest greenfield opportunity in infrastructure technology. We're going where the growth is. And we're building something that will be indigenous to these spaces from day one.
